Legal Regulation of the Organic Market

With the growing popularity of organic products the problem of legal regulation of the market for organic products is relevant. The aim of the study is to specify the requirements for the sale of organic products and determine other factors of influence on the legal regulation of the market for these products. The study is based on an analysis of legislative norms and the results of scientific research in this area. In result, it is proposed to include the sale of these products in addition to storage and movement in the concept of turnover of organic products. Requirements for the sale of organic products, which are proposed to include 1) the implementation of the sale of organic products only by business entities; 2) certification of organic production and / or circulation of organic products; 3) labeling of organic products with the state logo for organic products. At the same time, subjects of the sale of organic products are offered to the market operators of these products. Factors that affect the legal regulation of the market for organic products are also specified, in particular, it is substantiated that the production and turnover of organic products contribute to the implementation of the principle of greening agricultural production and that production is closely linked to the introduction of innovations and resource-saving technologies. In this regard, ensuring the protection of intellectual property of market operators is of great importance for the development of the market for organic products. For the implementation of the provisions of the law, necessary the adoption of by-laws. On the basis of which, proposals have been developed to improve the legal regulation of the market for organic products.
