Abstract

The article analyzes the scientific points of view on the concept and meaningful description of the administrative-legal status of a customs officer, defines the criteria for classifying civil servants depending on the authority to support staff, specialists, representatives of administrative authorities, and officials. Developing the views of scientists, the concept of the administrative and legal status of a customs officer is defined.
