The article reveals views on the concept of the legal status of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in the sphere of legal education of the population, describes the concepts of status, administrative and legal status, defines its elemental structure. The constituent elements of the administrative and legal status of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine are given, which form its separate component in the sphere of legal education of the population.
