Abstract

The features of the administrative and legal status of subjects of military administration in the sphere of organization of higher education are analyzed. The contradictions between the provisions of the current Law of Ukraine «On Higher Education», the foundations of the formation of a military career and the passage of military service are revealed. The directions of harmonization of legislation on higher education with the provisions on the military service by a serviceman – the head of the military educational unit of a higher educational institution and the department (department) of a higher military educational institution (higher education institution with specific training conditions) are proposed.
